Home Owners Association

Our community is governed by a Homeowners Association (HOA). This group of community leaders are dedicated to ensuring the sustainability and resiliency of our developments. The HOA offers opportunities for anyone to get involved whether it's through attending meetings, offering skills or services, or even serving on the board. The board consists of one member from each AMI group, two members from AMI groups which are proportionally more represented in the development, and one at large member for a total of seven members. The HOA fee will be $200 per month with options for individuals to contribute their skills or services (ex, landscaping, electrical work, logistical organizing) to reduce the fees.
The HOA fee will be listed at $200 per month and will provide the following services

Upkeep of common areas and spaces, including cleaning, dusting, and repairs

Provide amenities, such as social spaces and gatherings

Trash and recycling

Landscaping and maintenance of common outdoor spaces

Annual review of fees and democratic budgetary process

If someone can contribute a service, they can opt to have their fee reduced in exchange for their contribution or service

Example: a resident works in landscaping and can contribute time to mowing the lawns of communal grassy spaces, HOA could reduce their fee based on market cost for this service

Example: a resident wants to plan a community wide social gathering, can be compensated for their time and effort for planning and have their common space fee reduced or cut for the month they are planning the event
